I’ve already posted about this, but I’m desperate on how to help myself.
I have had IBS my whole life and I get flares, but they last days and they’re gone.
For the last two months, I’ve had one symptom after another.
I get bloated in my upper or middle abdomen after I eat, gassy, crampy like I could have a bowel movement ( don’t always), the gas moves into my lower stomach at night during my sleep, loose stools and cramping after that can last all day.
I’ve been to three gastro PAs, two Gastro drs and a nutritionist. I keep getting different answers.
Ive had an abdominal ct, trio breath test for Sibo that was negative, C diff test, blood tests and have been on Atkins and low fodmap diet.

The only thing that was low normal was my vit b12.

I actually thought I was better, but I’ve been eating normal foods again and I’m really sick.
Ive thought about going back to my regular Gastro dr again or to even go somewhere totally different.
I keep hearing that I have IBS, but can it last this long?
please give me your opinion of what you’d do.

Thanks!

Have you been tested for pancreatic insufficiency? Could give you some information. Have you had your gall bladder removed?
If no answers from GI doctors try visit with Endocrinologist. Might reveal something else?
Jennifer Patel's book "Listen to your Gut" has helpful information.
Hopefully you can find a better path to wellness.
