my IBS always gets better the day after my wife and I get "fun" time? After we have fun my IBS gets better the next day. Past few years the "fun" has all but ceased. Her job is pressure filled and she is never in the mood anymore. It sux, but it what can I do. I've tried just about everything. She's not interested, in any of it. I'm touchy- feely and she's get the heck away from me??

Well "fun time" usually causes various hormone and neurotransmitter releases that might be helpful for you.How to get more "fun time" probably has to do with figuring out how to reduce your wife's stress. Ask her what you can do to make her life easier and then do it as best as you can. For a lot of guys "fun time" is a stress reliever so the more stressed they are the more it helps. For women generally too much stress kills any desire for "just one more chore to do" because it feels that way a lot of the time when a woman is very overworked. I don't know what she needs, but did the "try everything" include talking about what needs to be done to make her life easier? After all the old saying goes if Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy, as well as no man was ever shot by his wife while he was doing the dishes.

I think I can recall somebody getting shot after breaking some dishes.

It is all very interesting. When I was at my "best," my wife was not so interested. As I have faded off into my Vigra years, NOW she begins to miss me. Go figure.Mark

Tried to make things easier for her, but apparently Mama still ain't happy. The longer I go the more stressed I get. Sex is a misdemeanor, da more I miss, da meaner I get. I really have tried everything. I make her breakfast everyday before she goes to work, clean, take out the trash. Sometimes I'll have a very warm bath ready for her, candles, roses and a cold beer for her. She hates wine and loves a good cold beer. Nadda, nothing, I'm still in the same shape. Her doctor has her on antidepressants and he mentioned Viagra helps some women? Her parents never hugged her growing up or showed much affection for her maybe that has something to do with it. I just don't know. All I know is even the crack of dawn is starting to look good! Maybe it's because I can't work anymore and she feels the weight of the bills. That hurts me more than anything else. I used to make very good money and seemed happy then. Maybe, I just don't know. She's the love of my life as well as my best friend. I'm worried about her.

KathleenM, I'm going to try to get her to go with me. Thank you very much for the advice. I'm going to see if we can get in this coming week.
