I have been suffering with IBS-C (CRONIC CONSTIAPTION) for almost 9 years now.Why do all the news reports say that the new drug for IBS-C "Zelnorm" is being tested on Women only?I will do anything and everthing possible to get my hands on this drug when it comes out.I am very desperate already.

I feel the same way as I've had to use milk of magnesia daily for almost 4 years. I am not confident that a doctor would presccribe it for me because of my low weight. They will all refer me to someone else (GI doctor, internist, psychologist, therapist). They won't even listen to me or do anything until I see all these doctors.

i think it's being retested on women because there were problems when used by women. lotronex was originally released for women but was used by men with success.tom
