Wow this is crazy! I am a 34 yr female and feeling at times that i'm still a child. I to have the D after eating not every time it is a hit or miss thing. And it doesn't care if i'm in a car or in the mall. I'm soo imbarrassed 4 times i didn't make it to the bathroom. Try to explain that to your husband! Aynways about 2003 i went to see a gastro doc. He did test after test said i have ibs i took the meds with no results. He decided to take my gullbladder out but i am still having all these problems still. I am eating more fiber but all that does is eather makes me go more or gasses me up. So does anyone think i could have this habba syndrom? Please help me!

You could have had Habba; but since that comes from a low-functioning gall bladder, it could have changed to bile dumping IBS now that the organ is gone. Then again, you might have just had IBS all along. Have you looked at the Calcium protocol that Linda has had such success with? It has helped numbers of people who have had their gall bladders removed.Mark

Yes Bushbabe Higher fat diets can make D worse. (Especially if you have no GB)Have you ever tried Questran(Powder form) or Colestid (pill form)? They are bile salt binders. They can firm up D especially for those without GB's (gall bladders). AND they are also the rx most Habba Sufferers end up on anyway. Also many without GB's have been helped by taking the Calcium carbonate. Did you look at Linda's thread about it on the D forum? Here is a link to it:http://www.ibsgroup.org/forums/index.php?s...t=0&start=0Have you used imodium capsules at all? I use it preventatively WITH meals.
