I am getting hassles from my supervisor for taking time off when IBS hits me hard and I stay home because of it. My supervisor has asked that I go to the doctor each time I need a day off for this and provide her (supervisor) with a note from the doctor. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know if we (IBS sufferers) are covered by the American's with Disabilities Act or anything else like that?
