wHAT IS THAT?i DON'T IT WILL HELP AT ALL.Most of the surgery put a big stress on the body and make thing worst.
LAK, I had a hysterectomy about 6 years ago and I had no problems. Though I didn't have IBS before the surgery, and 4 years later I do. In my case it didn't start the IBS, and I am not sure it will help. Hope all goes well for you. My hysterectomy was the best thing to happen to me. God Bless  Shannon
Maybe not the surgery itself but the pain medication are something to really whatch out.I would recommand tylenol for the pain after a surgery.
I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago. It didn't help my IBS (D), but at least when I had menstrual cramps & PMS the pain I had with my IBS was as worse as it could get. I would be in so much pain then I couldn't function, it was unbearable. So, in a way it did help. I am also glad I had this done. No more horrible cramps and I feel saner.
