Zelnorm approved in UK????

Hi everyone this is my first post.I saw my GP yesterday and asked for Zelnorm (Tegaserod maleate) and he said he'd never heard of it and looked in a few medical books. I'm now wondering if it is even approved yet in the UK, and a quick google search wasn't successful.Does anyone know how I can find out if it has been approved? I've even been to the Novartis (makers) website but it didn't have any info.RegardsMuggle
