I posted the other day- i gave my dr. the info on colchicine... the drug for treating gout BUT it works on the MOTILITY of the gut.... yes, the only "bad" side effect is diahrea!!!! the treatment for chronic constipation is .6 mg 3 times a day- i take mine at lunch , dinner and bed- its working!!!! i also take reglan though which is anotehr moltilty drug- if your dr is against reglan ther is always domperdione- just like reglan- can get it in Canada or compounding pharmacies make it- some doctors will agree to that... there is also some other drugs studied for chronic c. - flux posted about it underr the thread by Jeffry about the fda... there are links . print them out and take them to your doctor- its worth a try.dont give up hope- Lori
