I started taking Zelnorm 2 weeks ago. I still have symptoms. But it has helped tremendously. I noticed the first week I had horrible diarrhea. But I don't have all the upper stomach pressure. Take you Dr's advice and stay on it for 2 weeks. You may be surprised. Good luck
