Zelnorm study is not closed

I went to Long Beach today to pick up my Zelnorm and took my first pills tonight, while I was there I asked my Doc if the zelnorm study was closed. He said defintly not, they are still enrolling. The study protocol number is CHTF919D2201. The study is for functional dyspepsia, my doctor believes 9 out of 10 IBS-C suffers have dyspepsia. If you would like to know where the study groups are and if they are in your area, I could see if I can find out. Just let me know where you are from. Marvin

One more thing, the test to find out if you suffer from dyspepsia is paid for by the study, an endoscopy, and gastric emptying. This study is for functional dyspepsia.Marvin

Marvin, Thanks for the info. Novartis said they were going to start studies on this. Glad to see they went ahead. Zelnorm may get approved for functional dyspepsia before it does for IBS-C! Hope it works well for you.
