I think it's only called Zelnorm in the U.S. Elsewhere in the world it's called Zelmac. It was also originally called Zelmac in the U.S., but the FDA thought it might get confused with a couple of other drugs that were close in name, so Novartis had to change it.
It is Zelnorm in Canada and if approved by the FDA, will be Zelnorm in the US. In all other countries it is marketed as Zelmac.Zelnorm/Zelmac is the drug tegaserod, a partial 5-HT4 antagonist for those suffering from IBS-C.
